This manual is the result of the AMA leadership in this research and the effective alliance created with the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH); the Provincial Direction of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) of Villa Clara and Sancti Spíritus; the governments and the FMC of both territories, as well as the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). For the first time, it is systematized in a single document and the relevant aspects of the risk perception study methodology, the population survey and the instructions for its application are published, also emphasizing the strengthening of the gender approach inclusion in the study.
