Course purpose:
The course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and empower communities to better prepare for preventing, responding and recovering from disasters.
Key aspects:
The course is based on the premise that all disasters are local. This means that it is always the communities that bear the brunt of the impacts of disasters. Better disaster prevention, response and recovery measures will help to protect communities from disaster impacts, and will also protect institutional / organizational investments in communities.
Course Methodology:
This course will be hybrid course, Online from 9-13 May 2022 and Face to Face from 16-20 May 2022.
Course fee is USD1,900.
