Professor Mark Pelling will introduce the Global Challenges Research Fund and set the scene. Presenters from three small- to large-scale GCRF projects will share what they have learned about achieving impacts within these diverse applied research projects. Presenting projects include that aimed to develop a comprehensive scheme for enhancing the seismic safety and resilience of school buildings in Nepal as well as . There will be three short presentations and then time for discussion.
