The main objective of the event is to provide a platform for sharing experiences, good practices, progress, achievements and challenges in the implementation of the Sendai Framework (with a particular focus on the first target, reducing disaster mortality), and identify follow-up actions to accelerate implementation in Africa in general and Ethiopia in particular.
