International Day for Disaster Reduction 2017 - QSAND
The International Day for Disaster Reduction 2017 celebrates how people and communities around the world are reducing their exposure to disasters and raising awareness about the importance of reducing the risks they face. IDDR 2017 is targeting a reduction in the number of people affected by disasters globally by 2030, with a slogan this year of Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Safe Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
In support of the Day, BRE Trust (Building Research Establishment). joined by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), are running a free hour-long webinar which will focus on two main areas which can help reduce the risk and impact of natural hazards on communities.
