The workshop is expected to provide: (i) an opportunity for regional consensus-building on the development of the Tourism Disaster Risk Management Strategy and Standards for Risk Assessment; (ii) capacity strengthening for National Tourism Organizations (CTO members) and National Disaster Offices (CDERA members) in Disaster Risk Management for the tourism sector; (iii) information on stakeholder benefits from the project; (iv) an overview of the project’s purpose and objectives; and (v) a status of the project since its inception.
