PROCULTHER-NET Consortium Partners announce that the closing of the first phase of the project will be celebrated with a Final Conference aimed to present the results and future initiatives related to the protection of cultural heritage within the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network (UCPKN). Participation via videoconference is open to all Mechanism Members and Participating States, as well as experts from international institutions and stakeholders active in the field of disaster risk management and cultural heritage protection

Building on the positive results of PROCULTHER, the previous initiative implemented from 2019 to 2021, PROCULTHER-NET started in January 2022 with the aim of promoting the establishment of a thematic community focused on the protection of cultural heritage within the UCPKN. A first phase of this initiative is coming to an end, and from Rome, 30 experts from the consortium partners (1), as well as from partner national and international stakeholder institutions, will be presenting the results of the work done during the 24-months of project implementation and proposing perspectives and expectations towards the establishment of a thematic community within the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network.

All interested actors, public and private organisations and institutions, including humanitarian experts, academic and research professionals active the fields of disaster risk management and cultural heritage protection are invited to take part from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. via videoconference. 

In order to receive the technical information for accessing the Conference, interested participants shall register by Friday 24 November at the latest.
