Developing Clear and Effective Responses to Climate Change

Water is the primary medium through which climate change will affect livelihoods, shape economies and alter the natural environment. How water is managed largely determines the effectiveness of adaptation to climate change.

The Water & Climate Days present a comprehensive programme of scientific knowledge, practical responses and opportunities for public awareness raising - a chance to push for greater political action in the run-up to and beyond COP-15. The sessions build on previous Water and Climate Days held in 2007 and 2008 and are a joint effort between many organisations working on key water and climate policy issues.
