As one of the most climate-dependent sectors, agriculture can be highly vulnerable to the impacts of slow-onset climate change and the increasing frequency of high-magnitude events. In economies highly dependent on agriculture, climate impacts can elevate risks of food insecurity, loss of livelihoods and export revenue, and heightened competition among water users (among others). All of these can elevate both social and macroeconomic instability that place constraints on prosperity and development.

This webinar aims to introduce the use and benefits of Earth Observation EO-derived data and services in climate resilience decision making in climate resilience decision-making in the agriculture and water sectors.
