ASEAN members to cooperate in flood mitigation and relief

In a move initiated by Thailand, ASEAN's leaders will issue a statement on cooperation in flood prevention, mitigation, relief, recovery and rehabilitation after their summit on Thursday. According to the Nation, the statement calls for further cooperation among members, sharing best practices in disaster management and management of water resources.
