International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction-2014 - Resilience is for life: Putting focus on senior people

"Senior people can give valuable insights into how to reduce disaster risks in their communities. Incorporating the traditional local knowledge in the current initiatives for climate change adaptation and disaster resilience promotion can actually give communities convenient and cost-effective solutions in the wake of the increasing number of natural hazards," writes M.
