Consultation on the Handbook for Implementation of the Principles for Resilience Infrastructure

(Ä¢¹½´«Ã½) invites members of the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) community to comment on the Handbook for Implementation of the Principles for Resilience Infrastructure.
The were developed in consultation with over 100 countries as well as stakeholders and experts to raise awareness around resilient infrastructure, integrate resilience as a core value in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, and assist the public and private sectors in making risk-informed policy and investment decisions.
Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ has now developed the Handbook for Implementation of the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure that provides detailed guidance to each group of stakeholders involved in infrastructure resilience.
The Handbook explains the interventions and key performance indicators that can be used to improve and monitor national infrastructure resilience. Furthermore, the Handbook also presents the governance framework to implement stakeholders’ interventions.
The Handbook is part of a set of enablers supported by the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ to help nations achieve resilient infrastructure, which includes a Resilient Infrastructure Stress Testing model, among other initiatives.
