Disaster management co-ordinator Phillip Ramdass will be conducting sessions preparing children and young people in the Sangre Grande area to deal with disaster. It coincides with the theme of International Day of Disaster Risk Reduction (October 13), reports Guardian Media Limited. The October sessions will be conducted by the Disaster Management Unit in conjunction with the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management. The sessions are timely since T&T is in the hurricane season.
