Economic losses from disaster events reached $368 billion in 2024 driven by Hurricanes Milton and Helene, severe convective storms in the U.S., and flooding across Europe. These events demonstrate the critical role of adaptation and mitigation measures, as well as opportunities to better protect lives and enhance resilience.

Aon’s Climate and Catastrophe Insight report tells two very important stories about the Weather megatrend.
