The Playbook for Inclusive Community Engagement is a working resource designed to provide cities with a practical guide to engage their communities in climate action, particularly those hard-to-reach and often excluded groups.

This report has collated and curated over 40 case studies and ready-to-use engagement methods for cities of differing capacities to inspire urban practitioners, citizens and city leaders around the world to drive forward the inclusive climate action agenda. The Playbook also sets out key principles, exercise sheets, and focus pages investigating innovative and emerging approaches to engagement, from using the arts to digital platforms.
