Case study - Water availability in the River Nile: assessing the impacts of climate change on the River Nile
This case study details the work the Met Office undertook with the Danish Hydrological Institute and the Nile Forecasting Centre, to provide estimates of future water flow in the Nile, Egypt. It is intended to help assess future climate change by estimating the likelihood of predictions for the region, which will enable governments to plan adaptation strategies for possible climate change impacts and minimise the risks to livelihoods, industries and economies.
