Climate adaptation outlook: a proposed national adaptation assessment framework
This report proposes a National Assessment Framework that governments, businesses and communities can use to assess national progress in adapting to the impacts of climate change and to set national indicators.
The report is composed of six sections: (i) section one introduces climate change adaptation and explains the importance of addressing climate risks; (ii) section two presents an adaption assessment framework with which centers around drivers, activities, and outcomes of climate change adaptation; (iii) section three describes possible good drivers, activities, and outcomes of climate change adaptation in Australia; (iv) section four describes possible good drivers, activities, and outcomes of climate change adaptation in Australian coastal zones; (v) section five describes possible good drivers, activities, and outcomes of climate change adaptation in south-east Queensland; (vi) and section six describes possible indicators of national progress toward climate change adaptation as a starting point for consultation with stakeholders.
