The report presents the main outcomes of the project ”Risk Reduction and Livelihood Promotion in Western Orissa” from January 2005 to March 2006. This was one of the community based initiatives to address chronic drought at Bolangir of Western Odisha. The region is considered as one of the most drought hit areas of India followed by mass distress migration. The initiative was supported by American Indian Foundation (AIF) and being implemented by network CBOs and NGOs.
