Dicchi and Pomix goose play for discovering volcanoes: a fantastic journey
This goose play ("Il gioco dell'O.C.A.") of Dicchi and Pomix (a child and a hone pounce) contains a play on words, OCA being the goose, but meaning also "Osservare Con Attenzione" (Observing with attention). This game, an innovative teaching aid, illustrates a pedagogical journey that, through images, drawings and a series of questions children have to answer keeps their attention engaged until they reach the target, which is learning how volcanoes function, what dangers they generate, and what are their related hazards, including the environmental vulnerability, but also what a precious resource they constitute.
