The aim of the research paper is to provide critical insights and best practices for Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DIDRR) programs. The paper examines the challenges faced by persons with disabilities in disaster situations and the steps that can be taken to promote inclusive disaster risk reduction. The research paper also aims to raise awareness about the importance of including persons with disabilities in disaster risk reduction efforts.

The report rounds off with a number of brief conclusions, calling for more research, including evaluations to look at effectiveness and impact, together with strategies for ensuring political commitment to and resources for DIDRR.
