Disaster simulation in north and central Nigeria

To test flood disaster contingency plans, a simulation exercise was conducted in three Nigerian schools in March 2019. This exercise gave emergency responders the chance to develop skills and knowledge, and provided a valuable opportunity for various stakeholders to meet and work together to improve coordination. The training also enhanced the resilience of school children during disasters.
