Flood and coastal erosion risk management strategy roadmap to 2026

A summary of the practical actions organisations implementing the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England will complete by 2026. The was published in 2020. An initial 1-year action plan showing the actions needed was published on 12 May 2021.

A longer-term view is now needed to keep the country on track to implement the strategy. To address this the Environment Agency has worked with partners to develop a roadmap. The roadmap contains practical actions out to 2026. By completing them we will be on track to implement the strategy’s 2100 vision.
