ICHARM action plan 2010-2012
Technical note of PWRI no. 4197:
This action plan for 2010-2012 continues the efforts undertaken during the past four and a half years around the key activities that were designed in the original plan of the center: (i) research, (ii) training and (iii) information networking, which include the development of a satellite-based flood forecasting system, research on flood risk assessment and adaptation strategies to cope with climate changes, technology transfer to local areas in collaboration
with the Asian Development Bank, and various training courses such as one-year Master’s course on water-related risk management.
