This magazine reports on the third edition of the International Conference on National Safety and Security and features plenary session report on "Resilient citizens in a resilient society" led by UNISDR's Margareta Wahlström, pages 10-11. The plenary session addressed the keys to building a culture of prevention, which included accumulating risk, resilient societies, national platforms, cross-cutting issues, and rapid urbanization. The plenary session was in accord with conference's theme to encourage a resilient society preventing it from disturbances and preparing it to bounce back after a national crisis or disaster.
