National Safety and Security Findings Report
The Dutch government has been using the National Safety and Security Strategy since 2008. The strategy consists of three core components: the National Risk Assessment, the capability analysis and the National Safety and Security Findings Report. This document reports findings of the National Safety and Security Strategy.
Based on the results of the capability analysis, the report makes a number of general and specific recommendations for enhancing capabilities in five areas:
- Cooperation in the field of crisis management;
- Information gathering;
- Awareness and education;
- Crisis communications; and
- International capabilities.
