Protocol on technical cooperation and mutual assistance in the field of civil defence. Signed at Evora on 9 March 1992.

For the purposes of this protocol, scientific and technical cooperation be tween the two countries may include the following:

• The joint preparation and implementation of specific programmes and projects;
• The dispatch of technicians to provide advisory and consulting services;
• The acceptance of scholarship students at the institutions of either party for the purpose of occupational and technical training;
• The planning and implementation of joint activities;
• The organization of conferences, meetings, courses and seminars;
• The exchange of information, documentation, publications and teaching materials;
• Any other type of scientific or technical cooperation agreed upon by the parties
