This report is part of the project of the team on "tsunami watch operations" which is about: (i) providing a mechanism to the ICGs for coordination of tsunami watch operations among the Tsunami Warning Systems; (ii) documenting current and proposed products and their dissemination methods, working through existing ICG working groups or their equivalents; (iii) reviewing terminology and recommending harmonized terminology; (iv) documenting areas of responsibilities, geographical coverage, system architectures, and other relevant characteristics; (v) developing consensus on uniform standards, procedures and guidelines for tsunami watch operations, including a process for verifying the operational status of Regional Tsunami Watch Providers; and (vi) developing guidelines for the review of tsunami watch operations.
