Development Initiatives is an independent organisation working for poverty elimination. Since 1992, Development Initiatives has been working with governments, multilateral organisations and NGOs. Its programmes of work has a focus on poverty elimination and it has a particular expertise in analyzing, interpreting and improving information about international aid and development and making it more transparent and accessible.

The organization has no registered commitments.

The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
