Mission
The Mahidol University vision is to be a leader in integrative education and academics relying on the basis of the resources found in the western ASEAN region. Its mission is:
- To produce moral and ethical graduates who have in-depth integrated knowledge and skills that can be adapted to raise the country to the international standard on the basis of sustainable development
- To produce both national and international research as well as transmit the existing body of knowledge in an integrated way on the basis of the resources found in the western ASEAN region that can develop the local communities and the country in a sustainable manner

The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
