Mission

Monash University is an Australian public research university based in Melbourne, Australia.

The University hosts the  (MUDRI) as part of the Accident Research Centre which has been established to harness Monash university-wide expertise with the goal of strengthening community-based disaster resilience. It aims to provide the evidence to shape new approaches to disaster preparedness and management in the context of Council of Australian Governments' National Strategy for Disaster Resilience.

Voluntary Commitments

The Sendai Framework Commitments (SFVC) online platform serves to incentivize stakeholders to inform the public about their work, to provide a vehicle for sharing commitments and initiatives and for motivation toward the implementation of the Sendai Framework. In turn, Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ can monitor and take stock of the progress and impact.
