Mission

The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) undertakes integrated ocean research and technology development from the coast to the deep ocean. Working with partners it provides long-term marine science capability including: major facilities; sustained ocean observing, mapping and survey; data management, and scientific advice.

All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.

A new study has predicted that future global warming will lead to an increase in extreme sea levels by 2100, with consequent flood risks.
