Routed is an online publication founded in the autumn of 2018 by a group of graduate students brought together by a shared interest in migration and (im)mobility. Bridging the divide between specialist academic literature on human mobility and popular portrayals of migration in the media, the aim is to bring a fresh, critical perspective to the study of how and why people move. Challenging perceptions of migration as a binary choice between roots and routes, our work aims to lift up the voices of people ‘on the move’ and to explore human (im)mobility in its many varied forms.
allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
