The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.

New research used a whole-hospital simulation model to replicate medical staff, resources and space to investigate hospital responsiveness to mass casualty incidents (MCIs). The findings suggest strategies through which resources, including staff and supplies, can be shared across hospitals.
Save the Children Fund, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Children in Disasters Working Group collaborated to provide daycare providers a rubric for creating their own disaster plans. The end result was the development of a 20-minute video containing key points in disaster planning for daycare providers.
