This national climate change adaptation plan aims to prevent and limit the negative consequences of climate change on development in the medium and long-term in Togo. It builds on the 2009 National Adaptation Programme for Action (NAPA).

This plan provides an overview of the process of national adapation planning and the current state of climate change and its projected socioeconomic impacts in the country. It outlines the vision, objectives and responsible actors for implementation, estimates the costs for each adaptation measure identified, identifies options for financing, and describes planned efforts to monitor and evaluate progress.
