This course's objectives are to equip learners with skills and improve their understanding of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR & CCA) concepts.

The course is intended for graduate and post-graduate students, research fellows and other academics, practitioners working in humanitarian assistance or for national and international organizations, NGOs and other actors active in this field.

Apolitical has developed this course with experts from the Institute of Global Health Innovation and Imperial College London.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to describe the expected meteorological effects of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) in your region and the possible health consequences.

These interactive guidelines are intended to assist HOTREC members to better prepare, withstand and recover from crisis and climate related hazards with a focus on crisis resilience that prioritizes the safety of occupants and staff.

The Basics of Resilience Massive Open Online Course remains steadfast in its mission of educating the general public in disaster risk reduction and management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and resilience building through inclusive education.
